About FlexTecs

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing sales team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge B2B SaaS tool to finance and accounts payable (AP) departments in large organizations. Your primary focus will be to identify and engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and demonstrate how our solution can streamline their AP processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver measurable ROI.

What You’ll Be Doing

Prospecting and Lead Generation: 

  • Identify and qualify potential clients within the finance and accounts payable sectors. 

  • Utilize various lead generation methods, including outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking events. 

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic targeting and research. 

    Sales Presentations and Demos: 

  • Conduct engaging and persuasive product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of finance and AP professionals. 

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our SaaS tool, addressing common pain points and challenges in AP management. 

  • Customize presentations to align with the client’s industry, size, and unique requirements. 

    Relationship Management: 

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, including AP Managers, CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, providing insights and solutions that address their business challenges. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., customer success, product development) to ensure a seamless client experience. 

    Sales Cycle Management: 

  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and communications. 

  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. 

  • Accurately forecast sales revenue and track progress using CRM tools. 

 

Market and Industry Knowledge: 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting finance and accounts payable. 

  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on customer needs, product features, and market demands. 

    Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. 

  • Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to the Sales Manager/Director. 

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and improve sales effectiveness. 

Key Responsibilities

Experience: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in SaaS sales, ideally selling to finance or AP professionals. 

  • Experience in selling to mid-market and enterprise-level clients is preferred. 

    Skills: 

  • Strong understanding of finance and accounts payable processes and the challenges faced by AP departments. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively. 

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders. 

  • Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset. 

    Technical Proficiency: 

  • Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms. 

  • Familiarity with AP automation tools, ERP systems, or related financial software is a plus. 

  • Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
