Ferrari was storing 10 or more years of paper documents within a fenced section of their parts warehouse. Research was becoming extremely difficult and the paper was continuing to deteriorate. As Ferrari is a foreign based company, their rules for retaining historical information are longer than those for American based companies. The documents consisted not only of accounts payable records but also incuded many other financial document types as well.

flextecs presented a proposal to Ferrari to have the documents shipped by truck to our Georgia imaging center where they were sorted and prepared for scanning. As each of the document types were established, they were prepped, scanned, and indexed. Historical accounts payable data was provided by the client to link to the images for advanced indexing. The resulting digitized documents are delivered via a Secured 24/7 Web site for search and view.
